MARGAUX TRUNKSHOW

Earlier this year, we hosted our first New York City trunk show as collaboration with the women’s shoe brand Margaux. The female cofounders, Alexa Buckley & Sarah Pierson, were gracious enough to host us at their New York City flagship, on Bleecker Street, in the West Village. Cocktails were served, our signature Molly Martini Spotify playlist was played, and guests previewed our spring collection and Margaux’s selection of shoes amid of bounty of spring forward hydrangeas. A perfect NYC evening.

Here, a display of Margaux’s signature flats. They come wide, standard and narrow.

Here I am wearing one of our Spring styles, “Khaki”. The shirtdress will be available to purchase April 8, but you can preorder your size via email

I’m also wearing Margaux's Demi Flat in ballet pink, and find it to be the perfect neutral to throw on for a floral market run or a morning coffee stroll in Central Park.

Drinks were served by our lovely bartenders; a selection of champagne, Tanqueray (of course) and Ketel One, as well as light nibbles.

The bartenders, and our lovely assistant at MM HQ, wore MM hair bows - a special gift we give from time to time. It’s shown here in our Spring print “Devonshire”.

A detail of the hangtags we use for all trunk shows, which are calligraphed by hand and tied with an “MM Blue” grosgrain bow. The Lady Dress shown here in Shocking Pink, is available online now. It’s taken me from every holiday event to fun early spring nights out.

Guests in the mix. There’s quite a lot to discuss when you’re surrounded by such fabulous clothing!

Lots of bubbles were served, though an MM girl never runs out when hosting. A bit of leftover bubbly never hurt anyone...morning mimosa please?

Our window display at the store, featuring our shipping boxes, shopping bags, and another bounty of hydrangeas in a sea grass basket. I love seeing our MM blue shipping boxes amongst a sea of brown boxes come off the UPS truck!

It was the loveliest evening. This photo is with Margaux cofounders Alexa Buckley and Sarah Pierson, the most gracious of hostesses. Thank you so much to these lovely ladies and fellow female entrepreneurs for hosting a lovely evening! Be sure to stop in their flagship boutique the next time you’re strolling in the West Village.

You can take a few of our Molly Martini matchbooks at the next trunk show near you!
